Declan Callan

Declan Callan serves as the Legal and Compliance Director and Head of Legal at Collen Construction since October 2020, bringing extensive experience in legal and compliance matters within the construction sector. Previously, Callan worked as a Solicitor at ByrneWallace and as a Trainee Solicitor at Eugene F. Collins. A foundational career at Mercury Engineering involved roles as Contracts Administrator, Project Manager, Specialist Systems Package Manager, and Electrical Engineer, demonstrating expertise in project management and engineering solutions. Callan's responsibilities included advising on legal risk evaluations, contract negotiations, and construction law, alongside familiarity with various forms of contracts such as RIAI and FIDIC. Education was obtained from the Law Society of Ireland and Dublin Institute of Technology.
