Duncan Bird

Duncan Bird is an experienced M&E Commercial Lead currently at Collen Construction since 2025. Previously, Duncan worked as a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor at various firms including BAM Construct UK and Balfour Beatty Construction Services UK, and held the position of Commercial Manager at Michael J Lonsdale briefly in 2023. Duncan’s early career included roles as a Quantity Surveyor at AMEC and as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor at Ridge and Partners LLP. Duncan earned a degree in Cost Management of Building Engineering Services and Construction Management from Nottingham Trent University from 2003 to 2007.
