Dave Platter

Dave Platter serves as a Partner and Co-Head of Origination at Coller Capital since 2013. Platter has also been a member of the Board of Directors at The Navigators Group, Inc. from 2013 to 2019. Previously, Platter held the position of Vice Chairman for Financial Institutions' Investment Banking, as well as Head of Financial Institutions America at Credit Suisse from 2006 to 2012. Platter's earlier experience includes serving as Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Financial Institutions Investment Banking at Bear Stearns & Co. from 2000 to 2004, and as a Financial Institutions Investment Banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette from 1994 to 2000 and at Morgan Stanley from 1985 to 1994. Platter earned an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BS from the University of California, Berkeley.
