Missy Feather DNP, MBA-HCM, RN-BC has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Missy currently serves as the Chief Nursing Officer at Colleton Medical Center - HCA since August 2021. Prior to this, Missy worked at HCA Healthcare as the Division Vice President of Nursing and Clinical Informatics from November 2018 to August 2021 and as the Division Director of Clinical Informatics from April 2017 to November 2018. Before joining HCA, they held the position of Director of Clinical Informatics at Colleton Medical Center - HCA from September 2013 to April 2017.

Earlier in their career, Missy worked as the Director of Critical Care Services at Colleton Medical Center from July 2010 to September 2013. Missy served as the Clinical Manager at MUSC Meducare from May 2006 to July 2010 and held the role of Flight Nurse/Marketing and Outreach Coordinator at CareForce from August 2004 to May 2006.

Missy started their career at The Regional Medical Center as an RN and Clinical Coordinator from August 2001 to May 2006. Missy began their nursing journey as a Staff RN at Colleton Medical Center in May 1998, where they worked in the Emergency Department until 2000 and then transitioned to the role of Circulating RN in the Operating Room until August 2001.

Throughout their career, Missy has gained experience and expertise in various nursing leadership roles, clinical informatics, critical care, and emergency nursing.

Missy Feather DNP, MBA-HCM, RN-BC has a comprehensive education history that includes various degrees in the field of healthcare and nursing. Missy first attended Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College from 1996 to 1998, where they earned an Associate's degree in Nursing. Building upon this foundation, Missy pursued further education and attended the Medical University of South Carolina from 2002 to 2003, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Seeking additional knowledge and expertise in healthcare administration, they enrolled at Columbia Southern University from 2010 to 2011 and obtained an MBA with a focus on Healthcare Administration. Lastly, from 2018 to 2020, Missy attended Aspen University to earn their highest degree qualification, a Doctor of Nursing Practice. Throughout their educational journey, Missy Feather DNP, MBA-HCM, RN-BC has continually expanded their knowledge and skills in the nursing and healthcare field.
