Reed Hillen

Reed Hillen is a seasoned planning professional with extensive experience in urban and community development. Currently serving as a Senior Planner at Collier Engineering Company, Inc. since December 2022, Reed previously held the role of Planner at the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority from May 2019 to December 2022. Reed's experience also includes serving as the Director of Planning and Community Development for the City of Shelbyville, TN, and as the Director of Planning and Codes for the City of White House, Tennessee. Prior roles encompass work as a Transportation Planner at the Tennessee Department of Transportation and planning internships at the City of Franklin, TN and the City of Knoxville. Reed holds a Master's degree in Planning with a focus on Urban and Sustainable Planning from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Millsaps College.
