Dave Buckman

Dave Buckman is an accomplished Executive Producer at ColdTowne Theater, overseeing artistic, production, and education departments since 2006. In addition to production and direction roles, Buckman has extensive experience as an actor with Collier Talent Agency, participating in various commercials, films, and TV series. As a key figure in the Austin improv community, Buckman has led and directed prominent theaters and managed an industry-leading comedy festival. Previous roles include stage director for Boom Chicago, member relations manager at the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, and customer service specialist at PeopleAdmin. Buckman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Literature with a focus on Cinema Studies from American University and has received extensive training in improvisational theater through notable institutions in Chicago.
