Adam Allen

Adam Allen, P.E., PTOE has extensive work experience in the field of highways and traffic engineering. Adam is currently serving as the National Discipline Leader and Senior Principal at Colliers Engineering & Design since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Principal and Highways & Traffic Engineering Discipline Leader at the same company from December 2021 to January 2023. Adam was previously a Principal and Highways & Traffic Engineering Discipline Leader at Colliers Engineering & Design from February 2021 to December 2021.

Before joining Colliers Engineering & Design, Adam Allen held various positions at Maser Consulting. Adam served as the Principal and Transportation Design Market Leader from January 2020 to February 2021. Prior to that, they were the Principal and Geographic Discipline Leader for Traffic Engineering & ITS from October 2018 to January 2020, and as the Principal Associate and Geographic Discipline Leader for Traffic Engineering & ITS from April 2010 to October 2018.

Adam Allen started their career at CMX as a Project Manager from June 2002 to March 2010.

Additionally, Adam Allen has also held leadership positions in LeadershipITE, where they served as the Chair from September 2019 to August 2021.

Adam Allen, P.E., PTOE began their education at Nottingham High School in Hamilton North from 1996 to 2000. Adam then attended Lafayette College from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Adam Allen has also earned several additional certifications, including Professional Engineer in the states of Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey, and Professional Traffic Operations Engineering from the Transportation Professional Certification Board. Adam is also certified as a Traffic Signal Technician Level II and a Traffic Signal Operations Specialist (TSOS).
