Matthew Thrift

Matthew Thrift, CFA, AACI, is currently the Vice President and Head of Underwriting - Capital Markets at Colliers, where they lead the Valuations Team focused on grocery store anchored retail properties across Canada. Reporting directly to the COO, Matthew manages a portfolio valued over $10 billion, overseeing strategic asset management and coordinating with multiple in-house teams to enhance asset insights. Previously, Matthew held roles such as Director of Asset Management at Montez Corporation and Senior Manager of Valuations & Asset Management at First Capital Realty Inc. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) from Goodman School of Business at Brock University and has achieved credentials as a CFA Charterholder and AACI.
