Michael Lake

Michael Lake is a Lieutenant at the Collin County Sheriff's Office, specializing in emergency operations management and coordination, tactical response team operations, and detainee operations. Previously, they served in the US Navy, where they held multiple leadership roles, including Emergency Operations Director and Leading Chief Petty Officer, overseeing engineering teams and security operations. Michael has a background in law enforcement education, with certificates from TECOLE Peace Officer Academy and TECOLE Detention Officer Academy, along with a Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering Technologies from Almeda College. They retired as a Chief Petty Officer after a distinguished military career spanning over a decade.
