Charles Greenman

Charles Greenman has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Charles'smost recent position was at Collings Guitars, where they contributed to the fulfillment of Bill Collings' vision through engineering, design, milling, R&D, and various other tasks.

Prior to that, from 2004 to 2011, Greenman worked at Reed Prototype and Model as a Shop Manager. In this role, they managed a team of machinists and model-makers, oversaw the operation of multiple machining centers and lathes, and handled job quoting, scheduling, and quality control. Charles also played a key role in developing strategies and experimental processes to meet client needs.

Before their role at Reed Prototype and Model, Greenman worked at Visual CNC from 1991 to 2004. Charles opened a branch of the company in Plano, TX, catering to the local design community. During this time, they utilized their skills as a CNC machinist, model-maker, project manager, and finish painter to produce visual mockups, engineering parts, and oversee projects.

In addition, Greenman had a brief stint at McMillan Company in 1991 as a Model-maker. Charles'sresponsibilities involved the production of high-end architectural models for the real estate marketing industry, including machining, finishing, assembly, and installation of large-scale building and interior models.

Lastly, from 1988 to 1989, Greenman worked at R-Tex Boats as a Designer/Draftsman. Here, they were involved in the design of fiberglass ski boats and runabouts, as well as assisting in the construction of full-scale mockups and molds.

Overall, Charles Greenman has a diverse background in engineering, design, management, machining, and model-making.

Charles Greenman attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1984 to 1990, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in architecture.
