Darren Summers

Darren Summers is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Collins Aerospace since January 2010, where leadership of the Manufacturing Engineering group focuses on resolving production floor issues related to both equipment and products. Prior roles include Senior Sustaining Engineer for HMD/HUD Systems, addressing production and service challenges, and Senior Supply Chain Quality Engineer, where monitoring of supplier performance was paramount. Previously, at PECO Manufacturing, as a Supplier Quality Engineer, notable success was achieved in improving a troubled supplier's performance significantly. Earlier experience at InFocus Corporation included roles as Reliability Engineering Manager, Senior System Quality & Reliability Engineer, and Optical Engineer, managing reliability testing and process enhancements. Darren holds a BS in Physics from Oregon State University.
