John Raid

John Raid serves as the Chief Systems Engineer for the Space Solutions Products Team at Collins Aerospace, where responsibilities include leading the development of next generation Space System Architecture solutions. Previously, John held the position of Associate Director for JADC2 experimentation and Demonstration IPT program management, focusing on Army programs. Prior to Collins Aerospace, John was a Principal Systems Engineer at Raytheon Technologies, specializing in avionics systems for military aircraft. Additional experience includes roles as VP Engineering at SwineTech, Inc., and Founder and CEO of Ruminate, which developed eco-friendly smart lamps. Earlier in his career, John served as Sr Engineering Manager at Rockwell Collins, overseeing systems engineering for various aviation displays and communications systems. Academic credentials include an MBA from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Iowa State University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science from the same institution.
