Kamal Chauhan

Kamal Chauhan is an experienced Manufacturing Methods Engineering specialist at Collins Aerospace, a position held since May 2018. Prior experience includes serving as a Manufacturing Tech at Northstar Aerospace from May 2012 to September 2018, where responsibilities included CNC programming for 5-axis mills, lathes, and mill-turns, as well as developing new machining methods, processes, jigs, fixtures, and troubleshooting. Kamal is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Management at the University of Ottawa (August 2022 - September 2024) and plans to further advance academic qualifications with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Additive Manufacturing in Aerospace research from McGill University (October 2024 - April 2028). Academic credentials also include a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University College of Engineering Pune, India, and membership in the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE).
