Muhammed Ameen

Muhammed Ameen is the current Commercial Manager at Collins Construction. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Surveyor for Mitie Property Services from February 2013 to August 2016. In this role, they were responsible for understanding tender/specification ensuring works were valued accordingly, raising VOs/RFIs, submitting monthly interim valuations in accordance with contract/valuation procedures, preparing and submitting accurate cost and value reports for contracts under their supervision, issuing/updating cash flow forecasts for FWPs and final accounts, liaising with client and cost consultants to issue change orders and negotiate/agree VOs, managing contractual risk to ensure efficiency is maximised in terms of WIP, Cost vs Value, issuing subcontract targets, raising orders accordingly & processing invoices/payment certs, learning/using/providing feedback on current cost monitoring mechanisms implemented by MITIE.

Prior to their role at Mitie Property Services, Muhammed Ameen worked as Registrations & Programme Officer at Newham College of FE from September 2010 to February 2013.

Muhammed Ameen graduated with a 2:1 Honours in BSc Quantity Surveying from the University of Westminster.

They are on a team with Emma Obertelli - Executive Assistant, Ryan Cleanthi - Divisional Director, and Paul Davis - Pre-Construction Director. Their manager is Jason Warren, Managing Director.
