Colleen Thompson

Colleen Thompson is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Deputy Program Manager at Collins Engineers, Inc. within the CDOT Project Coordination Office since May 2022, also previously holding the position of Project Engineer in the same office. From January 2021 to May 2022, Colleen worked as a Project Engineer at TranSmart, focusing on project coordination within the Colorado Department of Transportation. Prior experience includes serving as a Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Specialist with the Peace Corps from April 2017 to January 2021, where Colleen assessed community needs in a rural village in Vanuatu. Colleen's early experience encompasses a Civil Engineering Internship at Michael Baker International in 2016 and work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Colleen earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2016.
