Jorge Ojeda

Jorge Ojeda is an accomplished diplomat currently serving as Minister Plenipotenciary at the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs since February 2002, with prior experience as a Career Diplomat and Counsellor involved in key international organizations. Previous roles include Minister Counsellor at the Embassy of Colombia in Panama (August 2019 - June 2024) and Deputy Director of Social and Economic Benefits at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of Colombia. Ojeda's early career features an international consultancy role in education in Berlin and Bonn. Educational achievements include a Master of Advanced Studies in Global and European Security from the University of Geneva, a specialization in International Business Management from Sciences Po, and a Diplom Politologe in Regional Integration and Industrial Policy from Freie Universität Berlin.
