Balasubramaniam Brahanawardhan currently serves as an Associate Engineer in InfoSec at the Colombo Stock Exchange since September 2022. With a background in lifeguarding, Balasubramaniam has worked with Sri Lanka Life Saving since March 2016, initially as a Basic Rescue Lifeguard, later achieving the title of International Lifeguard (Intermediate) from July 2018 to December 2019. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Information Communication Technology specializing in Cyber Security from SLIIT, completed in 2023. Balasubramaniam's early education includes time at Kurunduwatta Royal College, British Way English Academy, Gampola Hindu College, and the British Council, culminating in various diplomas in English language and literature, as well as Intermediate level CPR and swimming qualifications through the Sri Lanka Police Life Saving Rescue.
