Kiel Hagberg has over 20 years of work experience, starting in 2004. Kiel began their career as a Process Management Engineer Co-Op at Cargill, where they worked on large projects that resulted in significant plant energy savings. In 2005, they became a Process Management Engineer Intern at the same company. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Process Management Engineer and was responsible for implementing capital projects, managing over $6 million in capital spending and achieving energy savings.
In 2007, Hagberg joined Arboris LLC, where they held various roles including Project/Process Engineer, Production & Engineering Manager, Plant Superintendent, Director of Manufacturing and Engineering, and Vice President of Supply Chain. Their responsibilities at Arboris included budgeting for capital projects, managing the DCS system that controlled plant operations, and overseeing supply chain functions.
In 2023, Hagberg joined Colonial Chemical Solutions, Inc. as the Vice President of Operations.
Kiel Hagberg completed their Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering and Mathematics from the University of Minnesota Duluth, where they studied from 2000 to 2005.
