John Thompson

John Thompson has extensive experience in leadership and account management, currently serving as an Account Executive at Colonial Life since June 2007. Previously, John held the position of Chief Executive Officer at the YMCA of Columbia, SC, where employment spanned from January 1966 to April 2007. Early in their career at the YMCA, John started by assisting with various tasks, progressing to significant roles over the years, including a two-year service in the US Army. John studied at Columbia Commercial College from 1965 to 1967.
