Radu Cazan

Radu Cazan is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in pipeline safety and leak detection, currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Colonial Pipeline Company since August 2013. Cazan's expertise includes optimizing computational leak detection models, providing 24/7 support for pipeline controllers, and developing training programs for industry professionals. Previously, Cazan worked as an Independent Consultant specializing in data processing for medical research, alongside roles at AREVA in thermal-hydraulics engineering and positions as a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology. Academically, Cazan holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, an MS in Aerospace Engineering, and a BS in Aerospace Engineering, complemented by a Management of Technology program from Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business.
