Jonathan Spell

Jonathan Spell has extensive experience in the banking and credit sectors, currently serving as Commercial Credit Manager and previously as Senior Commercial Underwriter at Colony Bank since October 2021. Prior experience includes roles as VP and Consumer Underwriter Manager, as well as AVP and Senior Consumer Loan Underwriter at Renasant Bank from August 2015 to October 2021. Jonathan began a career in banking at HeritageBank of the South from May 2010 to August 2015, holding positions as Banking Officer/Credit Analyst and Commercial Administrative Assistant. Earlier roles included Loan Officer Assistant and Teller at The Park Avenue Bank from October 2006 to May 2010. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Emmanuel College (2003-2006) and completed the Georgia Banking School at UGA from 2011 to 2013.
