Copeland joined Colony Bank in July 2021 as a Special Advisor of the Company and the Bank bringing 30 years of banking and executive leadership experience with him. Prior to joining Colony Bank, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Community Banking Officer at Synovus Financial Corporation from 2015 until 2019. From 2009 through 2015, Copeland served as Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer.
