Andrew Robinson

SVP, Emerging Markets at Coloplast

Andrew Robinson is the current Senior Vice President of Emerging Markets at Coloplast. Andrew has been with Coloplast since October of 2018 and in their current role, they are based in Denmark with full P&L responsibility for Coloplast businesses in Emerging Markets across Asia/ANZ, EMEA, and LATAM.

Under Robinson's leadership, the company has made significant organizational and resourcing changes to accelerate short-term growth to 3-4x market growth. In addition, they have achieved or exceeded all financial metrics for 12 straight quarters, delivering double-digit growth and a leveraged P&L. While at the same time embarking on an exciting 5 year EM growth strategy that will double the business by the end of the strategic period.

Prior to their current role at Coloplast, Robinson served as Vice President / Head of Surgical for Alcon from January 2016 to September 2018. Before that, they were the Vice President & General Manager of Stryker Japan from January 2012 to December 2016. Andrew started their career in the medical device industry as the Director of Sales & Marketing Excellence for Novo Nordisk in Tokyo, Japan from January 2004 to December 2012.

Robinson departed Coloplast due to family relocation back to the US.

Andrew Robinson has an MBA from the Wisconsin School of Business in Global Strategic Management. Andrew also has a Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University in Atmospheric Sciences. Andrew is a 2013 graduate of the Stryker Accelerated Development Program in Executive Leadership from Harvard Business School Executive Education.

They are on a team with Alain Morvan - SVP, Sales Europe, Rasmus Hannemann - SVP, Global Marketing, and Jesper Kalenberg - VP, Corporate Procurement. Andrew Robinson reports to Allan Rasmussen, EVP, Global Operations.
