Amy Sheng

Amy Sheng has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Most recently, they worked as a Principal Product Manager at Color starting in May 2021. Prior to that, Amy was a Senior Product Manager at Ancestry from February 2019 to May 2021, where they were involved in the development and launch of the AncestryHealth product. Amy also worked at Eventbrite as a Senior Technical Program Manager from July 2017 to February 2019, where they played a key role in driving software programs and supporting product launches.

Before Eventbrite, Amy was a Co-founder at CellScope, Inc from December 2010 to September 2016, where they played a pivotal role in designing and manufacturing smartphone otoscopes and developing communication platforms for consumers and doctors. Amy was also a Fellow at Rock Health for a brief period in 2011.

Prior to their entrepreneurial journey, Amy worked at UC Berkeley's Bioengineering Department as a Project Manager from August 2009 to February 2011, where they managed the development and deployment of a cell phone-microscope prototype. Amy also worked at Medica Corporation as a Senior Project Leader from April 2006 to June 2009, leading a team in the development of an automated hematology analyzer. Additionally, they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Medica Corporation from June 2004 to March 2006, contributing to the design and manufacturing process.

Amy's earlier experience includes working as a Design Assurance Engineer at ABIOMED, Inc from November 2002 to June 2004, where they were involved in system-level testing for implantable artificial heart technology.
