Cindy Dalton has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Cindy is currently the Sr. Director of IT at Colorado Access, where they oversee multiple departments within IT and leads a team of 30+ IT professionals. Cindy has developed and implemented an enterprise-wide security program and effectively communicated with company executives and the Board of Directors. Prior to their current role, they served as the Director of Information Technology and IT Operations Manager. Additionally, Cindy has experience as the Decision Support Services Manager, where they led a team of Data Analysts and collaborated with business stakeholders to design and develop reporting standards. Earlier in their career, Cindy worked as a Sr. IT Business Analyst and as the Director of Operations at Optum Insight/UnitedHealth Group. Cindy has also held positions at The TriZetto Group and PacifiCare Health Systems.
Cindy Dalton obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Performance and Sport from Metropolitan State University of Denver, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Prior to that, they completed their Associate of Arts degree at Northwest Community College in Powell, WY, from 1988 to 1990. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in ITIL Foundation Level from The Knowledge Academy in March 2017.
