Colorado Acute Long Term Hospital is a 63-bed hospital in Denver, Colorado, providing high acuity care for patients requiring intensive medical, nursing, respiratory and therapy services. We focus on meeting the needs of all our partners in care, including the physician, patient and the patient's family. The facility was renovated in early 2008 to include private rooms for all patients, specialized bariatric rooms, a 10-bed intensive care unit, in-house radiology and CT scanner, in-house pharmacy and a procedure room. We are accredited by The Joint Commission and Medicare certified. Building on a shared desire to bring the highest level of critical and acute care to patients with respiratory disease and other complex medical illnesses, Colorado Acute Long Term Hospital and National Jewish Health have developed a clinical affiliation that brings National Jewish Health's expertise in respiratory and critical care to patients at our hospital. National Jewish Health pulmonologists round Colorado Acute daily and are available 24 hours a day on an on-call basis. At Colorado Acute Long Term Hospital, we embrace each of our patients as individuals with a personal history and a unique health situation. Our hospital specializes in the treatment of medically complex patients who require extended hospitalization.
