Robert Michael

Robert Michael is an experienced health information management professional with a strong background in HIPAA compliance. Currently serving as the Health Information Manager and HIPAA Compliance Officer at Colorado Acute Long Term Hospital since January 2016, Robert manages the Health Information Management function and oversees the Physician Credentials Process. Previous roles include Record Information Manager and HIPAA Privacy Officer at Rocky Mountain Human Services, where responsibilities encompassed managing records operations and HIPAA compliance, as well as HIM Operations Manager at Denver Health Medical Center, where Robert managed operations for correctional care facilities and provided training on medical records imaging systems. Robert holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management and Administration from Regis University and a Project Management Certificate from Colorado State University.
