Francisca Bermea

Member Success Specialist at Colorado BioScience Association

Francis works closely with the Vice President of Partnerships to deliver an outstanding member experience and execute all details for Education + Networking at CBSA, with 30+ programs and events annually. As Member Success Specialist, she supports collaboration in Colorado’s life sciences community. She facilitates member access to resources and connections through conferences, networking events, and educational programs and applies a creative approach to maximize engagement and value based on sponsor and member needs. She has a strong background in providing first-class customer service, managing day-to-day front-end operations, and coordinating events.

Before joining CBSA, Francis supported processes in the Level One Trauma Center at UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital for seventeen years. In the UCHealth Clinical Laboratory, she prepared patient samples for testing, and in the UCHealth Blood Bank, she supported a rapid response to life-threatening events by preparing blood components for patient transfusions. She also helped establish an inclusive community for the hospital system and led community outreach events on behalf of UCHealth’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for the Metro Denver region. Additionally, she collaborated with committee members and helped implement a multi-site research project related to stress management.

Francis holds an Associate’s degree of occupational studies in medical specialties and a certificate in frontline manager leadership essentials from the University of Denver.
