Andrew Grimm has a diverse work experience spanning various healthcare, government, and administrative roles. Andrew started their career in 2002 as an Assistant to the Mayor and City Council at the City of Cedar Rapids. Andrew then moved on to work at Grinnell Regional Medical Center as an Administrative Intern to the President & CEO. Starting in 2005, Andrew worked at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where they held several roles including Referral Specialist, Senior Project Assistant, and Clerk III. In 2012, they joined the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as a Health System Specialist. Andrew then worked at San Juan Basin Public Health as the Deputy Executive Director before joining Axis Health System as the Director of Integrated Clinics. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President of Integrated Health at the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless.

Andrew Grimm completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at the University of Iowa from 2006 to 2008. Andrew then pursued further education at the same institution, earning a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree in Health Policy and a Master of Health Administration degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from 2009 to 2012. Prior to attending the University of Iowa, Andrew studied Political Science at Grinnell College from 2001 to 2004, although the specific degree obtained is not specified.
