Heather Powell Browne

Heather Powell Browne is an experienced professional in global education and music curation. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Global Education at Colorado College since July 2008, Heather manages semester and yearlong study abroad programs and focuses on enhancing curricular integration and outreach to underrepresented student populations. Previous positions include Assistant Director of Global Education and Coordinator of Off-Campus Study. From 2005 to 2015, Heather authored and curated the Fuel/Friends Music Blog, which featured music reviews, interviews, and original recording sessions. Additional roles include Afterschool Song Specialist at Ivywild School, Inc., and various positions at Santa Clara University related to international programs. Heather holds a Master of Arts in Intercultural Relations from the University of the Pacific and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Santa Clara University.
