Valerie Gallegos

Valerie Gallegos is currently serving as the Associate Vice President of Talent Acquisition & Development at Colorado College since February 2025. Prior to this role, Valerie held the position of Human Resources Manager at the City of Colorado Springs from October 2019 to February 2025, where responsibilities included overseeing the city's Recruiting, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion, and Organizational Development programs. Valerie also served as a Senior Organizational Development Specialist, creating programs that aligned employee development with the city's strategic goals. Earlier in Valerie's career, positions included Assistant Principal at Colorado Springs School District 11, where planning and fostering an inclusive school culture were key responsibilities, and roles focused on developing Personalized Learning Plans in support of district improvement initiatives. Valerie Gallegos holds two Master of Arts degrees, one in Educational Administration from Argosy University and the other in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado Springs.
