Thelma Grimes

Thelma Grimes is a seasoned professional in journalism and media with extensive experience in editing, public relations, and event management. Currently serving as Deputy Editor at Colorado Politics since December 2023, Grimes has previously held roles including Community Editor/Special Projects Manager at Colorado Community Media, where responsibilities included managing events and overseeing special sections. Grimes’s prior experience encompasses positions as South Metro Editor at The Caliber Group and Editor at Tucson Local Media, as well as various editorial roles at Wick Communications and Explorer Newspaper. Grimes holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Technical Communications from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism/Print Media from Pima Community College.
