Karin Asensio

Karin Asensio serves as the Executive Director of the Colorado Democratic Party since May 2019, overseeing a range of departments including communications, finance, and operations while fostering relationships with local and state officials. Previous roles include Deputy Operations Director and Volunteer Coordinator at the same organization, where Karin focused on political outreach, organizational goals, and volunteer management. Prior experience includes leading the state chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America and serving as an organizer for the ACLU. Karin holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from the University of Geneva.
