Rebecca Holmes serves as the President and CEO of The Colorado Education Initiative since January 2017. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Program Officer at the Gates Family Foundation and Associate Commissioner for Innovation, Choice, and Engagement at the Colorado Department of Education. Holmes was the Executive Director/CEO of KIPP Colorado Schools and held positions as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting and Workshop Director/Trainer at College Summit. Additional experience includes serving as Program Director/Fellow at El Pomar Foundation and as an Educator at Wyatt Edison K-8 School. Holmes holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in History from Yale University.
