Robin Starr, DVM, MEd, has an extensive career in veterinary medicine and animal welfare. Currently involved with The Colorado Mountain Club as part of the Wilderness Trekking School Committee since 2007, Robin previously served as a Mammalogy Preparator at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science from February 2011 to March 2020. As Executive Director of Freedom Service Dogs, Inc. from December 2000 to January 2007, Robin led an organization dedicated to rescuing and training dogs to assist individuals with disabilities. Prior experience includes roles as Hospital Services Manager at the American Animal Hospital Association, Technical Services at Pfizer Animal Health, and owner of Sunnyside Veterinary Clinic. Educational background includes a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis, and a Master of Education in Systematic Instructional Design from Pennsylvania State University - Great Valley.
