Shane Larson

Shane Larson is currently the VP of Student Affairs at Colorado Mountain College. Shane has held this position since February of 2017. Prior to this, they served as the Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management at Colorado Mountain College from January 2014 to February 2017. Shane was also the Registrar for Colorado Mountain College during this time.

Before their time at Colorado Mountain College, Shane Larson worked as the Assistant Director of High School Admissions at Full Sail University from June 2009 to December 2013. Shane was responsible for managing a 30 member team of Admissions Representatives who were focused on High School age prospects. Additionally, they served as the Admissions Team Lead at Full Sail University from June 2009 to March 2012. In this role, they managed a team of 10 to 15 Regional High School Admissions Representatives. The team worked all aspects of the admissions process.

Shane Larson began their career in 2001 as a Recruiter for WyoTech. Shane held this position until August 2007 when they left to join Full Sail University.

Shane Larson has a Master's Degree in Enrollment Management from Capella University and a BA in Environmental Education from the University of Wyoming.

They are on a team with David Askeland - VP & Campus Dean of CMC Summit County, Angela Wurtsmith - Director of Human Resources, and Anne M. Moll - Dean, School of Humanities, Social Sciences, Sustainability & Education. Shane Larson reports to Carrie Besnette Hauser, President.
