Michael Smith

Michael Smith is an experienced professional with a diverse background in law enforcement, aviation, and education. Currently serving as the Financial Services Branch Chief with the Colorado Mounted Rangers since October 2015, Michael combines this role with entrepreneurship as the owner of Firearms Defense Training, focusing on life skills and firearms safety. As an adjunct professor at the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business, Michael teaches marketing while holding a Master's in Marketing and an MBA. Michael's extensive career includes leadership positions in the United States Air Force, where Michael retired as a Lieutenant Colonel, and as a Captain with United Airlines, managing diverse operational aspects and regulatory compliance.
