Andrew Kenney

Andrew Kenney is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in media. Currently serving as the Supervising Editor for Denverite.com under Colorado Public Radio since October 2019, Andrew leads a team of journalists focused on connecting the community to local news. Previous roles include Public Affairs Reporter at Colorado Public Radio, where Andrew covered state government and community policy issues, as well as reporting positions at The Denver Post and Denverite. Andrew also has a freelance journalism career, contributing to various magazines and podcasts, particularly on financial topics. Earlier reporting experience includes coverage of breaking news in North Carolina with The News & Observer and The Cary News. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has pursued additional studies in Mathematical Statistics and Data Science.
