Gretchen Werckman

Gretchen Werckman is an Ophthalmic Technician at Colorado Retina Associates since December 2020, with a diverse background in health promotion and education. Previous roles include Community Health Promoter with the Peace Corps, where community outreach and health education were key responsibilities, and Vail Ski School Instructor, delivering skiing instruction to youth aged 4-20. Additionally, Gretchen has contributed to various organizations such as The Matthews House, Colorado State University as a Nutrition Researcher, and The Growing Project, promoting nutrition and agricultural education. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Nutrition from Colorado State University, Gretchen combines a passion for health, nutrition, and education with hands-on experience in diverse settings.
