John Schmelzeis

John Schmelzeis is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in partner development and business strategy. As a Founding Partner at Optimus Talentum SAS since July 2024, John focuses on enhancing human capital in Latin America through innovative remote workforce services. In addition, as Chief Executive Officer at Colorado River Analytics since September 2023, John provides management consulting services to the Hyperscale Cloud Partner Community and financial services sector. John has a rich history with Microsoft from 2006 to 2023, holding various leadership roles, including Director of Partner Development, where responsibilities included driving growth with Managed Security Service Providers and Systems Integrators. Additional experience includes senior positions at Apple and Akamai Technologies, complemented by educational backgrounds from The College of Wooster and Berklee College of Music.
