DeAnna Caudillo has been working in the field since 1997. DeAnna began their career as an Occupational Therapist for Gallup-McKinley County Schools. In 1999, they became self-employed as an Occupational Therapist, serving children and young adults in the home and community setting, specializing in feeding disorders as well as neurobehavioral disorders. In 2007, they became a Behavioral Therapist for The Lazarus Project. In 2010, they became an Autism Specialist for Lionsgate Academy. In 2013, they became a Massage Therapist for Elements Therapeutic Massage. In 2015, they became a Psychiatric Case Manager for Community Reach Center. In 2019, they became a Care Manager for Colorado Access. In 2020, they became a Case Manager for Rocky Mountain Human Services. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Community Organizing Specialist for The Independence Center.

DeAnna Caudillo has a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy/Therapist from Boston University School of Allied Health, which they obtained in 1996. DeAnna also holds a Certificate from CenterPoint Massage and Shiatsu Therapy School and Clinic, which they obtained in 2012. In 2019, they obtained a certification in The Data Science of Healthcare, Medicine, and Public Health, with Barton Poulson from LinkedIn. Currently, DeAnna is pursuing a Master of Public Health - MPH in Latino Health from the Colorado School of Public Health, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
