Ellen Plese

Ellen Plese is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering management and operations. Currently serving as the Mechanical Engineering Strategic Planning & Operations Manager at Colorado State University since April 2018, Ellen manages a $7 million department budget and oversees human resources processes. Previous roles include Director of Program Management at Woodward, Inc., where Ellen managed mechanical fluid systems and led new product development, and significant leadership positions at United Launch Alliance and Lockheed Martin, where Ellen established multiple successful business ventures and led substantial teams in the aerospace sector. Ellen holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and an MBA, as well as additional professional qualifications in Aerospace Engineering.
