Kathleen K.

Kathleen K. serves as the Director of the Human Research Protection Program at Colorado State University since February 2022, following a role as the Interim Director. The Office of the Vice President for Research oversees the university's research initiatives. Prior to joining Colorado State University, Kathleen held several leadership positions at Franciscan Alliance, Inc., including System Director of Research Administration and Director of Cardiovascular Research, where administrative oversight of the Human Subjects Protections Program was a key responsibility. Kathleen's experience also includes directing the Research Department at Baptist Health System KY & IN and serving as Associate Director of Network Operations and Research Programs at CHI. Earlier in the career, Kathleen managed the Research Department at UCHealth, focusing on partnerships with biotech and medical device innovators. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Health Care Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
