Rodolfo Valdes-Vasquez

Rodolfo Valdes-Vasquez serves as an Associate Professor at Colorado State University since August 2012, with research interests focusing on sustainable development, social sustainability, and net-zero/net-positive buildings. Valdes-Vasquez teaches various courses, including Estimating and Sustainable Practices in Design and Construction, and has led a study abroad program in Costa Rica. Prior to this role, Valdes-Vasquez was an Assistant Professor at Clemson University and held a Post-Doctoral Research Associate position, contributing to a NSF-funded project on energy decision-making in design. Valdes-Vasquez’s academic journey began with a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Clemson University, where studies emphasized Sustainable Construction and Management.
