Monica Coughlin has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2000. Monica began their career at Sun Microsystems, where they served as a Business Operations Manager, Program Manager, Business Manager, Project Manager, and Manager of Installation, Deployment, and Production Engineering. In 2010, they joined Oracle Corporation as Chief of Staff for Global IT Service Operations. From 2011 to 2016, Coughlin held positions at the State of Colorado Governor's Office of Information Technology, including Chief Strategy Officer and IT Economic Development & Broadband Strategy Director. Monica then served as Chief Operating Officer of the Colorado Technology Association from 2016 to 2021. Coughlin is currently a Member of the Board of Directors at Elevations Credit Union and a Board Member at YMCA of Metropolitan Denver. Monica also serves on the Executive Advisory Board Member at Regis University's Anderson College of Business and Computing, the Board of Directors for the Women's Leadership Foundation, and the Board of Members for the Society for Information Management's Colorado Chapter.
Monica Coughlin attended Regis University from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Computer Science. In 2019 and 2020, they received a Certificate of Completion in Corporate Board Leadership from Women's Leadership Foundation / Boardbound. Monica has also attended the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business for the 50 for Colorado program.
