Shelene Thomas

Shelene Thomas currently serves as an Associate Professor at Augustana University, a position held since June 2023. In addition, Shelene is the Director of Interprofessional Education and Health Systems Science at Rocky Vista University since December 2021. Previously, Shelene has been an Associate Professor in the School of Physical Therapy at Regis University since August 2016, with earlier roles at the same institution as an Affiliate Faculty and Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education. Shelene also contributes as a Commission of Physical Therapy Education On-Site Reviewer for the American Physical Therapy Association since June 2008 and has been a Home Health Physical Therapist for the Visiting Nurses Association since 2006. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education from Creighton University focused on Interprofessional Education, a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Creighton University's Graduate Medical Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Denver.
