Briana Schlesinger is currently the Program Manager for the Colorado Reading Corps & Early Learning Corps at Colorado Youth for a Change. Prior to this position, Briana held roles such as Community & Family Development Manager at Families Forward Resource Center, Board Member at YNPN Chicago, and Assistant Director of Research at UIC Center for Literacy. Briana has a Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Sciences & Technology from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Arts in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago.
Colorado Youth for a Change
Colorado Youth for a Change addresses barriers to learning by providing individualized supports throughout pivotal stages of students' education journeys. We envision an equitable education system where each student has access to the resources they need to maximize their own learning and growth. CYC is a recognized leader in prevention and student reengagement programming, providing children and youth with one-on-one tutoring, evidence-based interventions, case management, and wraparound support services. CYC partners with school districts across the state, filling gaps in resources and providing one-on-one student support.
