Desmond Lee

Desmond Lee has worked in the software engineering field since 2013. Desmond began as a Software Engineer Intern at Tekzenit, Inc. (formerly known as Tekcenture, Inc.), where they developed a web service connecting job seekers and employers. Desmond then moved to Captured Dimensions as an Application Developer Intern, where they created multiple applications using Qt, Python, and Django. In 2014, they returned to Tekzenit, Inc. as a Software Engineer Intern and employed front end technologies such as AngularJS to develop a responsive single web application for both desktop and mobile browsers. In 2015, they joined Pariveda Solutions as an Associate 2 (Team lead, Solutions Architect), where they pioneered a greenfield cloud application while the organization transitioned to a hybrid cloud. Desmond also acted as a coach for junior front-end developers and assigned optimal tasks during agile ceremonies. In 2022, they joined Outlier as a Senior Software Engineer.

Desmond Lee graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering. In 2016, they obtained the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services.
