David Olsen

David Olsen is the current Director at Colorescience. Prior to their current position, they served as the Executive Vice President (EVP) of Sales, Marketing, and Commercialization at Bettera Brands LLC from February 2020 to July 2021. Additionally, they have held positions as the Global Vice President at MR PORTER and THE NET-A-PORTER GROUP from March 2012 to February 2016. Throughout their various roles, David has been responsible for launching, managing, and developing global beauty and grooming businesses. David has also been directly responsible for vision, business plan, strategy, comprehensive execution and integration of category expansion, category P&L, and business development. In their previous role at YNAP, David used the category primarily as customer acquisition, retention, and order growth, which ultimately drove up margin and enterprise value leading up to the sale to Yoox.

David Olsen graduated from Loyola High School of Los Angeles and then went on to study history at the University of California, Berkeley. David then attended the University of Miami School of Law where they earned their JD cum laude. After law school, they obtained their MBA in marketing from the University of Miami Herbert Business School. David is also a member of the CEW and the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, as well as an active member of the State Bar of California.
