Martin Nicholson is a scientist specializing in stem cell research at Colossal Biosciences since May 2024. Prior to this role, Martin served as the Head of Commercial Neural Products at NeuCyte from August 2022 to May 2024. Martin also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Academia Sinica in Taiwan from February 2019 to May 2022. Earlier experience includes a position as Departmental Research Technician at UCL from January 2009 to April 2018, and as a Research Technician at Dalhousie University from September 2007 to October 2008. Martin began the career as a Research - Administrative Assistant with the Canadian Sea Turtle Network from June 2006 to October 2008. Academically, Martin holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience from UCL, completed in 2012-2018, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Spanish from Dalhousie University, obtained in 2003-2007.
